The safety of train traffic on the railway is made by the correct operating of signaling and communication equipment, centralized blocking and telemechanics. Maintenance on time is a guaranty of safety. Signalization and communication equipment is affected a lot of times by the human factor such as electromechanics being located in a “no service” areas. Paper based reports on maintenance are inefficient and suffers from a weak control. Automated system ASCOA with planning of maintenance processes on-line, RFID and GPS- based control, and total monitoring of electrical measurements helps to solve these problems.
